BOKURA – ITO Sake Brewery’s Direct Shop

Welcome to BOKURA

Right next to our brewery lies a quiet space infused with time, memory, and the things we love.

BOKURA is ITO Sake Brewery’s direct shop, quietly carrying the spirit of the sakehouse and the moments that make us smile.

Here, you may encounter something “UMAI” that can only be found in this space—
a quiet, meaningful discovery by the source of it all.

What is BOKURA?

In 2002, our brewery owner and his wife renovated a more-than-200-year-old earthen storehouse by hand, with the help of a local carpenter.

This lovingly transformed kura, once used for brewing, was reconstructed using vintage beams, tools, and fittings from its own sake-making past.

Its walls, stairs, shelves, and benches all hold layers of time and memory.

Originally conceived as a place to share the owner’s personal passions, BOKURA grew into a sake-focused shop offering fermented goods, ceramics, and heartfelt conversation—often with vinyl records playing in the background, like a quiet terakoya.

You’ll find nearly all ITO Sake Brewery products here—plus special releases you may not find anywhere else.

It’s more than a shop. It’s a place to pause, pick things up, and choose with feeling.

What You Can Find at BOKURA
